Doc Wayne’s management team possesses an excellent combination of experience and skills to develop and manage an efficient method of enhancing the curriculum and expanding the reach of the operation on a larger scale. Both members of the management team bring years of operational experience, entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to wear many hats and their passion in the non-profit world, impacting and supporting countless youth.
David S. Cohen, Executive Director
David is managing and overseeing the Doc Wayne operation while exploring ways to broaden the organizations reach to more youth on a national and global scale. In his career of over 17 years in the business and non-profit sectors, he has specialized in developing new business, building partner relationships, while sharpening organizational outreach. David is a former college athlete that has been deeply involved in sport-based youth development since 2008. He is also the founder of Playing It Forward, Inc., a non-profit that provides sports equipment to disadvantaged children around the world. David has a BS from Babson College and an MBA from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University.

Rebekah Conway Roulier, General Manager
Rebekah is responsible for sports programs and training of coaches in current and future markets, the enhancement of the organization’s DtG curriculum and management of the monitoring and evaluation systems. She comes to the Doc Wayne with an Ed.M. in Sport Psychology and with extensive experience in coaching and work in youth services. Rebekah has a BA and Ed.M. from Boston University. Susan Wayne
Founder of Doc Wayne Athletic League and President
of Wayne Associates
Susan served as President & CEO of the Justice Resource Institute from 1979 until September of 2006. She has served as Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Community Affairs, and Director of Program and Staff Development at the New York State Urban Development Corporation. Susan has also held other public and private positions in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. She has received many awards for leadership and life time achievement and has served, often as Chair, on many provider and governmental task forces and commissions, including chairing three Gubernatorial transition teams for the Department of Youth Services.
Joseph Leavey
President, Communities for People, Inc.
Joe founded Communities for People in 1976. He has held a number of distinguished positions in the field of child and youth welfare services in Massachusetts, including Director of the Placement Division of Child Guardianship, Commissioner of the Department of Youth Services, President of the Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers, Chairman of the Children’s League, Chairman of the Special Commission on Foster Care, and President of the State Advisory Board for the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
